Isabelle "Belle" Rita Richard

Iowa – Belle Richard, 86, passed away in the comfort of her home on March 27, 2017.
Isabelle was born in Church Point, LA, on January 22, 1931, to the late Curley and Elma (Benoit) Bellard. She was a member of CFMA for many years. Belle loved cooking for her family, dancing, tending to flowers in her yard, raising her dogs and making coffee for family and friends when they stopped by to visit.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 72 years, Wilman Richard; sons, Terry Richard and wife Mauren, Malcom Richard and wife Sonya, Bryan Richard and fiancé Sallie; sister, Tracy Thibodeaux and husband Charlie; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; dogs, Molly and CC. Belle is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Herman, Kenneth and McArthur Bellard.
A Mass of Christian burial will be in St. Raphael Catholic Church on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at 1 p.m. with Father Bennie Wego officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home. Visitation is Wednesday in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home from 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. with a rosary at 11 a.m.
