Ismael Cruz Cantu Jr., 78, of Sulphur, LA passed on January 22, 2022, in a local hospital.
Ismael was born on February 28, 1943, in Victoria, Texas to Ismael Sr. and Tedosa Cantu. He enjoyed collecting movies, watching westerns, and playing poker.
Survivors include wife Patsy Hartzog Cantu; children, Terri Cantu Istre, Eva Marie Cantu Istre, Ismael Cruz Cantu III, and Joseph Anthony Cantu; 16 grandchildren;14 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.
He is preceded in death by his parents; first loving wife, Shirley Ellender Cantu; daughter, Laura Lynn Cantu; son, Lucio Cantu.
Cremation was entrusted to Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.
