Ivan John Hebert

Ivan John Hebert, 49, of Gillis passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at his residence.

Ivan was born on November 3, 1970 in Belle Chasse, LA and was raised in Grand Lake before moving to Gillis.  He attended Grand Lake High School.  Ivan was skilled with many trades and was able to use them in his working career. He was also gifted as an artist.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Nicole Hebert of Gillis; children, Thomas Bradley Fugate (Krysta) of Stuart, FL, Amanda Marie Sneed of Murfreesboro, TN, Candice Dawn Trahan (Derrick) of Gillis, and Ethan Chesson of Gillis; siblings, Shannon Hebert of Dayton, TX, Elizabeth Herndon of Sulphur, and Shawn Hebert (Lisa) of Tylertown, MS; grandchildren, Paydenn Sneed, Isaac Crochet, Cameron Trahan, Carson Trahan and Meredith Fugate; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Maureen and Wilton Hebert and a granddaughter, Gracelyn Trahan.

Cremation was entrusted by Johnson Funeral Home in Moss Bluff.  A memorial service will be held later.
