Jackie Lee (Jack) Mitchell, 93, passed away peacefully in his home on Thursday, April 10, 2025.
He was born on May 16, 1931 in Highpoint, NC, to Harry and Fairy Mitchell.
Jack lived most of his life in Lake Charles, LA. He served in the United States Airforce for 10 years.
His years of training as an airman sparked his love of flying.
He then spent many years as a crop duster pilot and real-estate appraiser, where he finished his working and flying career at the age of 80.
Those left to honor his memory are, his wife, Nora Mitchell; his son, Mike Mitchell; his stepchildren, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Cremation was entrusted to Johnson and Brown Funeral Home.
No funeral or memorial service will be held.
