Iowa – Jaclyn DeLayne Holland Brown, born in Lake Charles on December 3, 1984, daughter of Cheryl Nolan Holland and Jackie Holland, passed away in Katy, TX, Monday, July 22, 2019, at the age of 34.
Jaclyn was a member of Home Owners Association and graduate of Iowa High School. She was a realtor at Long Lake LTD. Her daughters say she loved to read, swim, tan by her pool, enjoyed making crafts, she found great joy in animals and taking care of others.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 19 years, Terrence Brown, Sr.; she was a loving mother to her children, Khylyn, Madison, Tayler, Terrence, Jr. (T.J.), Aubree, Nicholas Brown; her mother, Cheryl Nolan Holland; her father, Jackie Holland (Belinda); siblings, Khelly Holland Nunez, Shelly Holland Yokum, Lance Holland (Monica), Montana Holland (Amber), Erica Thomas; mother and father in-law, Ricky and Pam Prejean; brother in law, Ricky Brown (Edna), Jacobey Brown; sister in law, Crystal Brown; godparents, Randy and Debi Trahan, Norris and Cathy Autin; paternal grandparents, Morris and Shirley Holland; 6 nieces; 7 nephews and 2 godsons.
Jaclyn is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Nelson and Viola Nolan.
Funeral services will be Friday, July 26, 2019 at 11 a.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Burial will follow in Lacassine Cemetery. Visitation begins Thursday, July 25, 2019 in the funeral home from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m., with a rosary recited at 6:30 p.m. and will resume Friday from 8 a.m. – 11 a.m.
