Jacob Nathan Chalker of Denham Springs, born on August 23, 1999 in Hollywood, Florida, son of Timothy Duane Chalker and Christina Michelle Ballard, passed away on Monday, May 10, 2021, at the age of 21.
Jacob loved drawing, painting, being with his family and friends. He was a joy to have in life. He loved cheerleading in high school and had the best flips (tumbling tricks) in the world. He was very smart and excelled at anything he put his mind to. Jacob was the life of the party and could make you laugh when you did not want to. His infectious smile could light up any room and outshine the brightest stars. He was very poetic, grateful to those around him, and loved over abundantly.
Jacob is survived by his parents, Timothy (Christine) Chalker; Christina (Damian) Ballard, and Angelique Reber; siblings, Jeffrey (Kayla) Prill; Tyler Prill; Abigail Bodin; Austin Bodin, and Aryabella Chalker; grandparents, Ronald (Patricia) Chalker; JoAnne Ellingson; Richard Prill; Gloria Caldwell; Bonnie Arceneaux; and Steve (Sandy) Ballard; aunts & uncles, Kelly Prill; David Chalker; Michael (Sandra) Chalker; Timothy Reber, and Shayla Reber; nephew, Jase Prill; cousins, Josh; Jared; Matt; Chris; Isabelle and Nicholas Chalker; Kamron; Kaitlyn and Asher Reber; Jade Vasquez.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents; Curt Ellingson; Eldridge Reber; Carol Lynch and Paul Lynch; brother, Jeston Chalker.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at 3 p.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Pastor Joel Daugherty, officiant. Cremation will follow the service under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Visitation will begin on Sunday at 12 p.m. until 3 p.m. in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated to help with expenses.
