Jacqueline “Jackie” Conner Kelley, 73, passed away on December 10, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Jackie was born on May 7, 1952, in Creole, Louisiana, to Willie John Conner and Eunice “Anise” Boudoin Conner.
A student of South Cameron High School, Jackie later attended Demmons School of Beauty. She then devoted herself to being a stay-at-home mother. She poured her energy, faith, and compassion into raising her children and caring for her parents.
A devout Catholic and parishioner of Christ the King Catholic Church, Jackie lived her faith daily, prayed the rosary unwaveringly, and regularly visited the elderly in local nursing homes.
Jackie’s joys were simple but deeply meaningful. She loved playing bingo, watching game shows, shopping, and taking road trips with friends and family. She always looked forward to the monthly gatherings with her girlfriends to celebrate birthdays. Among her fondest memories were the many days spent at the beach, where she met her beloved husband, Rocky, and where they formed lifelong friendships. She loved every moment spent listening to her family play music and was always their number one fan. Above all, she cherished the time spent with her grandchildren, who brought her immense pride and happiness.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Robert “Rocky” Kelley; her son, Casey Powell and wife Erin, and their children: Abram, Elliot, Levi, and Sloan; and her stepchildren: Carl Kelley and wife Courtney, Bo Kelley, Lauren Johnson and husband Kevin, Kim Powell, Tom Powell and wife Becky, and Terry Powell and wife Andrea. She is also survived by her sixteen step-grandchildren and fourteen step-great-grandchildren. She will also be dearly missed by her sister Sue Haynie and her husband Mac and her beloved nephews Dwayne and Wes Haynie and their families.
Jackie was preceded in death by her mother, Eunice “Anise” Boudoin Conner; her father, Willie John Conner; and her sister, Willia Ann Conner.
