Jacqueline Peebly Vanacker

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jacqueline Peebly Vanacker, a cherished mother, grandmother, and sister, who left this world on June 18, 2026. Born on December 10, 1954, in Port Hueneme, CA, Jacqueline would later call Iowa, LA, her home, where she filled the hearts of her family with warmth and love.

Jacqueline was a dedicated homemaker who found great joy in nurturing her family and creating a loving atmosphere in her home. She had a passion for cooking, often gathering loved ones around her table, where laughter and delicious meals intertwined. Her love for family extended beyond those present, as she also cherished her time spent playing bingo and enjoying quiet moments with her favorite books.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Dawn McDonough (Billey), and her grandchildren, Drema Saucier (Jeb), Colton McDonough, as well as her great-grandchildren: Kalleigh Saucier, Jean Wyatt Saucier, Maverick Saucier, and Jolie Saucier. Jacqueline is also lovingly remembered by her brothers, Doug Peebly (Leslie) and Duane Peebly. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.

Honoring Jacqueline's wishes to be cremated under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home of Iowa.

Though Jacqueline has left us, her spirit continues to live on in the hearts of those she loved. May her memory be a blessing and a reminder of the warmth and joy she brought to our lives.

Jacqueline was preceded in death by her husband, James Joseph Vanacker; her parents, Jack and Nova Peebly; her sister, Darlene Lopez.
