Jacquelyn Worley Abrahams

Jacquelyn Worley Abrahams, 66, of Canyon Lake, TX, passed away on July 7, 2025 in the comfort of her home with her family at her side.

Born on May 28, 1959 in New Orleans, LA, Jacquelyn was known for her caring, loving, and silly nature. She cherished Christmas and enjoyed sharing stories from her past, which brought joy and laughter to those around her.

Jacquelyn dedicated her life to her family as a homemaker, creating a warm and welcoming home filled with love and kindness. Her hobbies included gardening, collecting Snow Village and Precious Moments figurines, and playing card games, which she shared with her family and friends during lively gatherings. She loved spending time with her son Garrett and her dog Lacey.

She is survived by her children, Nolan Scott Abrahams and his wife Amelia; Ashley Amanda Abrahams and her wife Deborah and George Garrett Abrahams; siblings Scott Worley and his wife Donna, Clay Worley and his wife Leslie, Caskey Worley and his wife Liz, Augustus Puffer, and Grady Kaogh and his wife Karen; grandchildren, Indy and Arlo; and numerous nieces and nephews. Jacquelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Nolan Ray Abrahams, her father, Jack Worley, and her mother, Lynn Lamkin.

A Gathering of family and friends will be at Johnson Funeral Home of Lake Charles, 4321 Lake Street, Lake Charles, LA 70605, on Saturday, July 12, 2025 from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM, with a celebration of her life to be observed at 11:00 AM. Jacquelyn's life and legacy will be celebrated by family, friends, and all who knew her as a beacon of Love.
