James Anson Comeaux, Jr.

James Anson Comeaux, Jr., 58, of Westlake, died Sunday December 13, 2015 at a local hospice facility surrounded by his family.
James was a native of Lake Charles and a graduate of Lake Charles High School. He attended SOWELA Technical School and retired as a welding instructor from Sulphur High School after 30 years of teaching. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time.
James is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Laurie Fitzgerald Comeaux,; son, Steven Comeaux and wife Jade; grandchildren, Carson and Callie Comeaux; all of Westlake; parents, Anson and Barbara Ann Duhon Comeaux, Lake Charles; and sister, Lisa Sittig and husband Johnny, Colorado Springs, CO.
Visitation will be on Tuesday December 15, 2015 at Johnson Funeral Home from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Wednesday at 9:00 AM at Westwood Baptist Church, 2317 Westwood Dr., Westlake, with a memorial service to be held at 10:00 AM. The Rev. Jaceson Johnson will officiate.
