James Henry Boling

Lake Charles – James Henry Boling, born March 10, 1952 in Elton, LA, son of the late Gradmon and Ellen Batiste Boling, passed away in his residence, Saturday, June 13, 2020, at the age of 68.
James was a graduate of Elton High School and retired from Calcasieu Parish Sheriff Office. He served in the U. S. Army and was a member of New Light Church. James enjoyed fishing, rodeo’s and trail rides, but most of all, sitting on the front porch with his grandchildren brought him so much joy.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 41 years, Ella Boling; son, Louis Boling; siblings, Gradmon Boling, Jr. (Sylvia); Billy Boling (Jackie); Cora Myles (Jerry); Doris Walker (Lawrence); grandchildren, Kyra; Kendel; Aubreigh; Greyson and Hadley. James is preceded in death by his parents and son, Jeremy Tyrone Boling.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at 11 a.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation is Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.
