James William Bott Sr.

James Bott, Sr., 66, passed away in his residence on Saturday, June 24, 2017.
James was born in Crowley on August 19, 1950 to the late Frank Bott and Loretta Farrell Bott. He worked for Louisiana Manhaden and enjoyed gardening, tinkering on equipment. His greatest joy were his grandkids and animals.

He is survived by his children, Tammy Taylor and James William Bott, Jr.; siblings, Mary Rougeau, Pat Meaux, Davey Bott, Timmy Bott, Frances Bott, Paul Bott, Richard Bott, Ronnie Bott, Delores Bott Boudin and Beatrice Sonnier; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Hannah and Jacob Bott. He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Milton, Leslie and Laradale Bott.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at 10 a.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home with Dr. Wayne Dartez officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday in the funeral home from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m.
