James Dickie Lovelady

James D Lovelady, 78, of Sulphur, lost his battle with cancer on Wednesday, April 26, 2023. He was a talented mechanic and worked on anything put before him. James loved to fish and spend time with his many friends. He was clearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.

Those left to cherish James’ memory are his wife, Barbara Lovelady; son, Perry Lovelady; daughter, Danielle Lovelady; stepchildren, Tonya McKnight, Tiffany Collins, K.C. Collins; grandson, Tyler McKnight; great-grandson, Oliver McKnight; brother, Kenneth Lovelady; sisters, Deborah Wilkins, Carolyn Lovelady, and Sharon Lovelady.

James is preceded in death by his parents James and Georgia Lovelady.

A memorial visitation will be held for James at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home on Saturday, April 29, 2023, from 9 AM until 12 PM. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.
