James G. Hebert

James Gordon Hebert, age 70, died on December 16, 2020 at his home of natural causes.

Mr. Hebert was a lifelong resident of Sulphur, Louisiana. He was a friend to many with a great heart, and was very caring. 

He is survived by his only daughter, Rachel Hebert Mere (wife of Sammy Mere); grandson, Brayden Clay Mere of Lake Charles; stepmom, Rosemary Drost Hebert; sisters, Angela Holloway & Karen Miller; stepsisters, Patricia Elkins and Roxanne Foux; stepbrothers, Timothy Rozas and Victor Rozas, and many nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by parents, Andrew Malone Hebert and Mary Lou Guidry Hebert; brother, Stephen (Paul) Hebert; sister, Frances Wrenn and grandchild, Aaron Paul Hebert. 

There will be no service at this time. The memorial gathering will be held at a later date. Cremation has been entrusted to Simple Traditions by Johnson Funeral Home.
