James Richard Horsman

Iowa ~ James Richard Horsman, born on August 2, 1932 in Bird Island, MN, son of the late William and Marie (Duchene) Horsman, passed away on March 8, 2021, at the age of 88.
James attended St. Paul Lutheran Church and worked as a plumber with Plumbers Union Local 15 until he retired. He enjoyed hunting, and spending time with family. James served in the United States Army
He is survived by his children, Robert Horsman (Lise), David Horsman (Diane), Richard Horsman (Vickie), Dennis Horsman, Dianna Schultz, Daniel Merrill (Brenda), Debbie Pittman (Harold); sister, Delores Stoeser; brother, Kenneth Horsman; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Horsman, and 1st wife, Marcella Horsman, parents, and 2 brothers, Garold and Vernon Horsman; stepchildren, David, Dawn and Dorothy.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March, 14, 2021 in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 3 p.m., Rev. Tim Norris, Celebrant. Cremation will follow the service under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa.
The family request that facial coverings be worn, and no food be brought to the funeral home.
