James "Jim" T. Williams

June 6, 1932 — May 7, 2021

Famous for saying “Good Morning” regardless the time of day.
Born, June 8, 1932, in Slicklizzard, Alabama, he grew up in Electra, Texas. Jim moved to Louisiana after marrying Ouida Baggett Williams in 1952.
Jim was a welder by trade and would tell you “I was the best,” he often worked off shore and anywhere the work was. Jim had worked for T&P Iron works, and later retired from Howell Industries.
Jim passed away at home on May 7, 2021 and is dearly missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ouida Baggett Williams, and daughter, Sharon Ann Williams.
He is survived by his second wife, Wanetta Jeanne Williams, son, James A. “Buster” Williams , and sister Joyce Esch, four grandsons, Eric Williams, John Williams, James W Williams, and Robert Wood, two step daughters, Marilyn Royer and Sharon Castille, three step grand daughters and two step grandsons.
But Jim’s pride and joy were his three great grand children and five step great grandchildren.
Services for Jim will be held at Johnson and Robinsons Funeral Home of Sulphur visitation on Monday, May 10, 2021 from 4pm to 8pm and again on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at 10am followed by the funeral services at 2pm directly followed by procession to Mimosa Pines Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers a memorial can be made to Olivet Baptist Church at 601 Patch Street, Sulphur, LA 70665.
