LeBleu Settlement– James Lee Kachtik, 82, passed away in a local hospital on Wednesday, April 5, 2017.
James was born to the late Albert and Lilly (Rohaskit) Kachtik on March 31, 1935.
He was of the Catholic faith. James enjoyed watching football, relaxing outside with family and friends, visiting with his grandchildren and he loved his pets.
He is survived by his children, Lori Kachtik Marcantel (Jeffrey), Sandy Kachtik and her companion, John McCasland and Darin Kachtik; grandchildren, Robert & Chasity Arabie, Joshua Marcantel, Sabrina & Justin Woodrow, Brook Weekly; great-grandchildren, Avery & Aubrey Arabie, Cally Kachtik, Charlotte Woodrow, Corbin Weekly, Cameron Cuellar and Preston Marcantel. James is preceded in death by his wife Marie Ledoux Kachtik; parents; pet boxer, BJ;
Visitation begins on Thursday, April 6, 2017 in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. with a rosary at 6:30 p.m. and will resume on Friday in the funeral home from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Funeral services are Friday in the funeral home at 2 p.m. with Father Roland Vaughn officiating. Burial will follow in LeBleu Cemetery – Lake Charles under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home.
