James Leslie Fisher, Sr.

James Leslie Fisher, Sr., 75 of Sulphur, passed away Saturday October 5, 2019 in Lake Charles.

Mr. Fisher was born in Gueydan and was a graduate of Gueydan High School. After graduation, he served his country in the US Navy. When he returned from his service, he relocated to Sulphur. He was a truck driver for 20+ years before retiring. He enjoyed spending his time reading.

Those left to cherish his memory are, his son, James Fisher, Jr. and wife Susan of Hemphill, TX; his daughter, Melissa Johns of Sulphur; 2 brothers, Alton Fisher of Lake Charles, and Robert Fisher of Homer; 5 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
