James Randall Marcantel

James Randall Marcantel, born in Eunice on January 12, 1958, son of Burley and Wanda (Fontenot) Marcantel, passed away in his residence, surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at the age of sixty-six.

James was a graduate of Sulphur High School and was of the Catholic faith. He worked for TNT trucking. He enjoyed being outdoors, listening to music, gardening, hunting, fishing, and loved to work.

James is survived by his wife, Janice Marcantel; mother, Wanda Marcantel; children, Lori Marcantel; Randi Taylor; Jeremy Marcantel (Melody); grandchildren, Kylie, Brycen, Alayna, Caimen, Ariana, Morgan, Mason, Madden, Kyler, Kasen, Kennedy; brother, Blaine Marcantel (Debra); sisters, Sheila Johnson (James), Angie Courville (Patrick), Jan Marcantel.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Sara George; father, Burley Marcantel; brother, Ronnie Marcantel.

Private services were held in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 3 p.m. Cremation was entrusted to Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa.
