James P. Doyle

James (Jay) P. Doyle, Jr. passed away at his residence on Friday, October 2, 2020.

Jay was born on January 30, 1967 in Lake Charles, LA to James P. Doyle, Sr. and Judy Ann Lavoi Landry. He will be remembered as a loving family man with a great sense of humor. He always had a good joke or story to tell. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, duck hunting, and fishing. He was a truck driver for over 20 years. He will be greatly missed by his family and the many friends he made along the way.

He is survived by his loving wife, Crystal Doyle; step-sons, John Thomas Knisely (Lily) and Justin Aymond (Joelle); step-daughters, Amanda Aymond and Taylor Aymond; step-grandchildren, Noah, Hunter, Conner, Braylee, Kayson, and Kaden; mother, Judy Lavoi Landry; father, James P. Doyle, Sr. (Estelle); step-sister, Larran Gieger (Steve); step-brother, Scott Landry (Kathy); and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his half-brother, Eric Doyle.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 in the Johnson Funeral Home chapel in Moss Bluff.  Father Aubrey Guilbeau will officiate.  Cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.  A gathering will begin at 5:00 PM until the start of the service.
