James Ray "Jim" Wilkinson, 86, passed away on July 30th, 2025, in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He was born on March 21, 1939, to Tully Ray Wilkinson and Marguerite Giglio Wilkinson in McComb, Mississippi.

Jim proudly served his country in the United States Army after earning his degree from the University of Southern Mississippi. His professional career spanned many years as an insurance adjuster with Crawford & Company in Lake Charles, Louisiana, where he was known for his integrity, diligence, and compassion.

Upon retirement, Jim and his wife Nancy, his college sweetheart and the love of his life, settled in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas. There, he found great joy in life's simple pleasures: perfecting his golf swing, sharing stories and laughter with dear friends, attending church, and traveling with Nancy by his side. The two celebrated 66 beautiful years of marriage marked by unwavering devotion and shared adventures.

Jim will be remembered for his warm smile, playful spirit, and never missing a chance to "cut up" and have fun.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 66 years, Nancy Hines Wilkinson; his daughter Kathi Jones (Wendell); his grandchildren Meghan Donovan, Kourtney Donovan (Matt), Zac Jones (Kasey), and Walker Jones; his great grandson Zander Jones. He also leaves behind his faithful dog, Bailey, and his grand-pup, Duke.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to House 1 at Sage Oak for their compassionate care and support during this difficult time.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, date pending.
