Jamie Todd Richard

Jamie Todd Richard, 49, of Lake Charles entered into Heavenly peace, Saturday, May 29, 2021.

Mr. Richard lived most of his life in Lake Charles.  A graduate of Northside High School in Lafayette, he served the United States Navy.  He worked many years as a well-respected delivery man for Kentwood Springs Water and later utilized his driving skills as a heavy equipment operator and most recently as a driver for Parish Disposal Industries, LLC.  Jamie always enjoyed fishing, loved the beach and took great pride in taking his boys along with him.  He will be most remembered for his kindness, generosity and love of his family. 

He leaves to honor his memory, two sons,  Blake Allen Richard and Collin James Richard of Moss Bluff; their mother, Kristi Richard Milburn of Moss Bluff; father, Roger Allen Richard (Marlene) of Hackberry; mother, Pauline Manuel Taylor (Dean) of Lake Charles; three sisters, Kimberly Kay LaRocca (Brian) and Kelli Ella Cradeur (Jebb), both of Lake Charles and Kristi Richard Gwinn (Timothy) of Picayune, MS and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Jared Allen Richard; paternal grandparents, Lester and Beatrice Richard and maternal grandparents, Raphael “R.E.” and Russella Manuel.

Private graveside services were held at Highland Memory Gardens under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.
