Jane Pollack Oliver Augustine

Jane Pollack Oliver Augustine, born in Port Arthur, Texas on July 20, 1941, daughter of the late James Otis and Lucy (Savant) Oliver, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2025, in the comfort of her home. She was eighty-three.

Jane embodied the true definition of homemaker. Her home was filled with love for her family, and she excelled in taking care of her husband and children. She had lots of friends and enjoyed spending time with them. Jane and her husband, Gene, owned and operated Iowa TV & Appliances for sixty-three years. Jane had a deep love for scripture and a strong faith in the Lord.

She is preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Trey Augustine, and brother, Jackie Oliver.

Jane is survived by her husband of sixty-eight years, Gene Augustine; children, Blaine Augustine and wife, Pam, Mika Shawn Augustine, and Chris Augustine; sister, Wanda Joyce Fontenot; grandchildren, Brianna Beaugh and fiancé, Trey, Brooklyn LaFleur and husband, Blake, Chase Lambert and Katelyn Carrier and husband, Kenny; great-grandchildren, Ava Long, Braxton and Brantley LaFleur.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 31, 2025 at 10 a.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Pastor Dwayne Daigle will officiate. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Sunday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. and will resume Monday at 8 a.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa.
