Janet Kay, born on June 10, 1943, in Rudolph, Ohio, passed away July 15, 2021, in Crockett, Texas.
Janet was a graduate of Elmwood High School in Bloomsdale, Ohio and served in the U. S. Navy from 1961 until 1964.
She was very social and loved being with friends and family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John Calvin Wickard and Alma Gertrude (Brace) Wickard; spouse; siblings, Jim; Tom and Gary.
Janet is survived by her sons, Cody Kay (Lori); Gary Kay; daughter, Kristy McKenty; siblings, Jackie Wickard; Jane McPherson; Nacey Lowe; Peggy Heilman; grandchildren, Matthey Zane Kay; Kayla Nicole Kay and Beaux Tucker McKenty.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at 12 p.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Burial will follow in Westlake Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Visitation will begin in the funeral home at 10 a.m.
