Iowa ~Jannette Ardoin Suire, born in Jennings on April 6, 1951, daughter of the late Eldridge and Lillian Moore Ardoin, passed away, Monday, July 18, 2022, at age 71.
Jannette worked as a bookkeeper for many years, but her first love was being a mother. In addition to having 4 children of her own, she was a foster parent to 176 children. She was a member of the Louisiana Foster Care Association, where she served as secretary/treasurer.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clayton Joseph Suire, sister, Gloria Daigle, and nephew, Christopher LeBleu.
Survivors are her children, Jeanelle Mouton McCloskey (John), Michelle Shaffer (Michael), Norman Suire (Cole Poindexter), and daughter of the heart, Marietta Hardesty (Broxie), 8 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren; siblings, Linda Ryder, Annette Bradford, Deborah Hickman, Eldridge John Ardoin (Janet), and Rebecca LeBleu (Phillip).
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2022 in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa at 4 p.m. with Pastor Broxie Hardesty officiating. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa.
