Jason Bryant Maddox, born in Lake Charles on March 21, 1972, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2023, at the age of fifty-one.
Jason was an accomplished drummer, playing in the band in high school, as well as church and in a Christian band he formed with his friends. Always the jokester, he had a very unique way of connecting with people. He was very giving, always looking out for others.
He followed in his father’s footsteps and became a magician, performing magic shows for various gatherings.
Jason was the owner of Stay Clean Pool Maintenance and Balloon Culture.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Adrian Maddox and Rachel Fontenot Maddox.
Surviving him in death is his sister, Kim Hooper and husband, Donald; fiancé, Jill Abshire; nephew, Mason Hooper.
A gathering of friends and family will be held in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa on Saturday, June 24, 2023 from 1 p.m. until the Celebration of Life at 3 p.m.
