Jd Flowers

JD Flowers, 85, of Sulphur, LA passed away on May 21, 2023. JD was born on October 27, 1937, to John and Lillie Flowers in Benson, NC. 

JD was known for being a gentleman and a loving man. He enjoyed playing horseshoes in his younger days, building houses, woodworking, and a great teacher of his trade. JD loved watching the Band ABBA, he was a movie buff and an avid animal lover. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving daughter, Sheree Simons and husband Bill; 6 grandchildren, Joshua Flowers, Adam Janies, Tina Matte, Stephen Horvath, Richard Flowers, and Mary Flowers; and numerous great grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 48 years, Gloria Flowers; his parents; one son, Richard Flowers; and 5 siblings.
