Jeal James Fazzio

Jeal James Fazzio, 71, of Lake Charles, LA died Monday, December 19, 2016 in a local hospital, surrounded by his family.

Jeal was born on November 26, 1945 in Lake Charles, LA to Sam and Mary Fazzio. He enjoyed being around friends and family and being on the river. He enjoyed cooking for family and friends and could be found each year on St. Joseph's Day making the traditional pasta and sauce for his family's St. Joseph's table. Jeal worked for Alfred Palma since 2005 as a Safety Inspector. He graduated from McNeese State University and served his country in the U.S. Army. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 20 years, Cynthia Fontenot Fazzio; four children, Heather Fazzio Partin and husband Randy, Dr. Samuel A. (Tony) Kemerly and wife Trisha, Amanda Caldwell and husband Justin, and Eric Cote; two grandchildren, Bree and Lila Caldwell; two siblings, Virginia Fazzio Rasmussen and Mitch Fazzio and wife Patricia; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and two siblings, A.J. Fazzio and Pat Broussard.

Visitation will begin from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a rosary at 6:00 PM Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Home. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
