Jean Moreau

Jean Moreau, 67, of Lake Charles died at 12:37 PM on Monday, May 18, 2015 in her residence. Mrs. Moreau was born on December 24, 1947 in Columbus, MS where she attended Columbus High School. She lived in Lake Charles for the past 42 years and was a member of Victory Baptist Church. Mrs. Moreau was a full time dedicated wife and mother having raised five children. She was an avid reader and was a part of the Silver Saints club. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 51 years, Bradley W. Moreau; three daughters, Vonda Barbie and husband Danny, Vickie Simmons, and Tara Sonnier all of Lake Charles; two sons, Michael S. Moreau and wife Lynette of Catoosa, OK and Steven B. Moreau and wife Melissa of Lake Charles; a brother, C.K. Nabors of Columbus, MS; nine grandchildren; and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 22, 2015 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Wayne Dartez will officiate. Burial will follow in Sweetlake-Grand Lake Community Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Thursday from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM and will resume on Friday from 8:00 AM until the start of the services.
