Jeanine Mcgrew

Jeanine Lafleur McGrew passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 13, 2020, while battling a sudden illness. She was a lifelong resident of Lake Charles, LA.

She is proceeded in death by her father, Leo Paul Lafleur, and her sister Paula Campbell.

She is survived by her mother, Sylvia Lafleur; 2 daughters, Dallas Thompson & husband Connor and Destin McGrew, both of Lake Charles; 2 sisters, Jackie Hollingshead, and Renita Tucker of Sulphur; granddaughter, Skylar Thompson; and 3 nephews.

Jeanine was a loving mother who enjoyed spending time with her family and watching football. She was a devoted LSU and Saints fan. Jeanine was a waitress for most of her life, and she loved meeting new people. She loved life, and never met a stranger. She will be missed dearly by all those close to her.

At her request, she will be cremated, and a small celebration of life will be held privately by her family.
