Jeanne Talbot

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeanne Eva Talbot, who left us peacefully on September 12, 2025, at the age of 88. Jeanne was born on January 23, 1937, in Elton, Louisiana, and spent her life as a beloved homemaker, devoted to her family and all who knew her. Jeanne's warmth, kindness, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by her loved ones and the community of Lake Charles, where she resided.

Jeanne is survived by her daughter, Mary Palmer, and her sons, Craig, Robert, and James Talbot. She is also survived by a brother, Rodney Rougeau, 7 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Jeanne's family was her pride and joy, and her legacy will live on through them.

Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents, Sadie and Gladau Rougeau, husband of 68 years; Lionel Talbot, brothers; Cleo Rougeau, Glenn Rougeau and grandson; Jayson Palmer.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Jeanne's life at her funeral service, which will take place at Johnson Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at 2:00 PM. Prior to the service, there will be a public viewing starting at 11:00 AM, allowing those who loved her to pay their respects and share their memories. Following the service, Jeanne will be laid to rest at Consolata Cemetery.
