LeBleu Settlement-Jeannette Gauthier, 74, passed away in her residence Tuesday, April 1, 2014.
Born on December 18, 1939 in Bayou Chene, she was the daughter of the late John Francois Benoit and Aline Melonson Benoit. Jeanette was a graduate of Roanoke High and attended St. Joseph Catholic Church. Her grandchildren were the apple of her eye.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Robert Dale Gauthier of LeBleu Settlement; daughter, Michelle Marie Gauthier Menard and husband, Allen; daughter-in law, Carla Swindoll Gauthier; brothers, Albert Bert Benoit and wife, Katy and John Wayne Benoit; sisters, Ruby Benoit Azner and husband, Jerry and Brenda Gail Benoit Smith and husband, Don; 5 grandchildren and a host of nephews and nieces who will mourn her passing. Preceding her in death are her son, Robbie Dale Gauthier; parents; brother, Andrew Benoit and sister, Adelene Benoit Plaisance
