Jeffery Keith Miller

September 2, 1959 — August 16, 2021

Jeffery Keith Miller, born September 2, 1959 in Kinder, son of Seward Joseph Miller and Lou Anna Manuel Miller, passed away after a lengthy illness on Monday, August 16, 2021, at the age of 61.

A graduate of LaGrange High School of 1978, Jeff was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and Carpenters Local 953. He played softball and coached his team called, “The Misfits”. He was president of the W & L Trail Riders for 17 years. Jeff was a member of the Cajun French Music Association. He had a passion for helping support local benefits for anyone in need. Most of all, he loved camping with family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Jeff is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Pam; daughter, Brooklyn Dawn Miller (Jimmy Harpster); siblings, Marcella Diane Miller (Tammy); Patrick Brian Miller (Sharen); Byron Scott Miller (Deanna); Terry Shannon Miller (Penny); Susan Renee Novak (Marty); Gregory James Miller (Laureal); grandchildren, Jailyn Paige Miller and Braylon Keith Harpster; 42 nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa on Friday, August 20, 2021 at 10 a.m. with Carl Ducat officiating. Burial will follow in Hebert Cemetery. Visitation begins Thursday in the funeral home from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and will resume Friday from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. Pallbearers assisting in his service are: Darrell; Kirk; Alfrado; Robbie; Jimmy; Brian.
