Jeffry Kent Rhodes

Jeffry Kent Rhodes, 54, of Addis, Louisiana, went to his eternal resting place on Thursday, April 17, 2025.
Jeff was born April 21, 1970, in Ft. Worth, Texas.
He graduated from Big Spring High School in 1988. He worked for Tokai Carbon, formerly known as Sid Richardson Carbon Company. Jeff will always be remembered for his kind heart, strong work ethic, and his willingness to lend a helping hand. Jeff enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing golf, but most of all he loved spending time with his daughter.
Survivors include his daughter, Brynlea, and her husband Braelynn Miller of Iowa, LA; his mother, Sandra Rhodes, of Big Spring, TX; a sister and her husband, Neasa and Brandon Iden of Big Spring, TX; a niece and two nephews; a great niece and a great nephew.
He was preceded in death by his father, Morris Rhodes; a brother, Derek Rhodes; his paternal grandparents, Alma and Brother Cecil Rhodes; and his maternal grandparents, Viola and H.E Neas.
A Celebration of Life will be held June 14, 2025 at 2:00 in the chapel of the First Baptist Church in Big Spring, TX. The service will be presided by Rev. Mark Lindsey and Dennis Ethridge. The family suggests memorials to The Gideon’s International, P.O. Box 133, Big Spring, TX.
“For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
