Jennifer Jo Hoffpauir Bellon

Jennifer Jo Hoffpauir Bellon, 55, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Jennifer was born in Lake Charles, LA on September 8, 1970, to Grace and Russell Hoffpauir.

Jennifer was a lifelong member of Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. She loved to dance, barrel race, and swim. Jennifer was very creative and especially talented at drawing, making rosaries and crocheting. She was also an incredible cook. Above all, Jennifer cherished spending time with her family and sharing in family gatherings. One of her favorite traditions was traveling to Galveston Beach with her loved ones.

A dedicated homemaker, Jennifer lived her life with warmth, kindness and deep devotion to her family. Those who knew her will remember the way she loved fiercely and made everyone around her feel valued.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 23 years, Rene "Joe" Bellon; her children, Alex (Jay) Doucet, Nick Bellon (Avery), Magi Bellon, Dakota Bellon, Benjamin Bellon, Cheyenne Bellon, and Angelina Bellon; as well as her stepchildren Elizabeth "Beth," Brent, Amanda, and Roman Bellon.

She was preceded in death by loved ones who welcomed her home; her mother, Grace Beatrice Beaugh; her father, Russell Louis Hoffpauir; her brother, Russell Hoffpauir Jr.; as well as many other cherished family members and friends.

A funeral service will be Saturday March 14, 2026 at Johnson Funeral Home at 3:00pm. Visitation will begin Friday from 5:00pm to 7:00pm and resume Saturday from 1:00pm till time of service. A rosary will be recited at 6:00pm on Friday. She will be laid to rest at Consolata Cemetery.
