Jeremy Brian Manuel, born in Lafayette on July 19, 1991, son of Kathy Manuel, passed away on June 15, 2025, at the age of 33.
Jeremy was a graduate of Iowa High School. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, listening to music, watching drag races, working on lawn mowers and working out.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Jeff and Mary Manuel. Sr.; cousin, J.J. Fontenot.
Survivors are his mother, Kathy Manuel; brother, Nick Burnett; aunts, Susan Fontenot (Donald), Donna Andrepont (Robert); uncles, Kenny Manuel (Shelly), Jeff “Bubba” Manuel, Jr.; cousins, Chance Manuel (Brittany), Marissa Navarre (Gabe), Drew Navarre, Dawson Navarre, Ben Manuel, Zach LeJeune (Shelby).
A Celebration of Life will be held in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at 7 p.m. Rev. Roland Vaughn, Celebrant. Gathering of friends and family will begin in the funeral home at 4 p.m. ~ 7 p.m. Cremation will follow under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa.
