Jeremy Stanley, 48, passed away on May 8, 2026.
Jeremy was a strong man with an unmatched work ethic. He believed in working hard and doing things the right way. He would gladly give someone the shirt off his back, but only if he knew they were willing to work for it. He never asked anyone to do something he wouldn't do himself.
Jeremy had a true passion for deer hunting. It was more than a hobby to him-it was a way of life. He also proudly served his country in the United States Army on active duty from 2000 until 2005, and then the Army Reserves until 2010.
He was known as a great cook and loved spending time by the stove cooking for family and friends. More than anything, Jeremy wanted to serve and take care of the people around him. He was an amazing husband and father who made sure his family was always cared for. Every morning started the same way-making his wife a cup of coffee before beginning his day. Nothing around the home was ever beneath him. He was thoughtful, dependable, and always willing to help.
Jeremy lived by honesty and integrity. One of the values he believed in most was to "be a man of your word." He loved his children and grandchildren deeply and took great pride in his family.
He is survived by his loving wife, Chancie Stanley; his children, Caleb Baker, Jeremy Stanley Jr., Steven Stanley, Kodie Stanley, and Maverick Stanley; numerous grandchildren; his father, Grant Stanley; and his siblings.
A Memorial service for Jeremy will be Thursday, May 14, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff.
Jeremy will be remembered as a hardworking man who loved his family, served others, and lived with honesty and strength.
