Jeri Lynn Blanchard

Jeri Lynn Blanchard, 36, of Grand Lake, LA, died on Monday, March 6, 2017 in her residence.

Jeri was born December 18, 1980 in Dallas, TX, was a native of Grand Isle, LA and has lived in Grand Lake for the past ten years. She was a 1999 graduate of Grand Isle High School and attended Nichols State and Delta Tech. She worked at Leading Healthcare for a number of years. Jeri was an avid LSU fan and enjoyed having a good time. She was a proud mother who loved to watch her son play sports. She will always be remembered for her outgoing personality and she would make friends and talk to people everywhere she went.

Jeri is survived by her son, Darian Blanchard; mother, Linda Anderton and husband Bruce; siblings, Diana Bertrand and husband Carlin, all of Grand Lake, Michelle Blanchard and Melissa Bales and husband James, of Bogue Chitta, MS, Darin Anderton of Grand Lake, Quinn Anderton and wife Liz of Houma, LA, and Becky Santiny and husband Brian of Grand Isle; grandfather, Leroy Collums of Eufaula, OK; aunts, Donna Santiny, Julie Bradberry, and Dale Santiny; along with a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, David Blanchard; grandmother, Geraldine Collums; and uncles, Robert Santiny and Melvin Bradberry.

Her cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
