Jerry Wiley, born on March 18, 1948, son of Cyrus Dempsey Wiley and Willie Mae Spann Thompson, passed away March 21, 2022, at the age of 74.
Jerry was of the Catholic faith. He was a commercial fisherman. Jerry enjoyed fishing, listening to music, especially Elvis and Bob Seger.
He is preceded in death by his father, Cyrus Dempsey Wiley; daughter, Sherry Wiley, and brother, Fred Wiley.
Survivors are his companion, Rose Benoit; mother, Willie Mae Thompson; daughter, Melissa Chandler; sons, Jerry Wiley; Robby Wiley (Elizabeth), and Kevin Wiley; numerous siblings; 7 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
A gathering of friends and family will be Friday, March 25, 2022 in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa from 3 p.m. until the time of rosary at 5 p.m.
