Sulphur ~ Jesus “Jesse” M. Aguirre, Sr., born February 17, 1952 in Sinton, Texas, son of the late David and Nicolasa Montemary Aguirre, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at the age of 66.
Jesse lived in the Sulphur area for over 40 years and worked for Newpark Drilling as a plant operator.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Linda Mae Swire Aguirre; daughter, Eula Aguirre Theriot and husband, Jude; son, Jesus Aguirre and wife, Alicia Eakin Aguirre; step-son, Matthew Collins and wife, Angela Vallery Collins; sister, Maria Brannan; 7 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services are Friday, July 20, 2018 at 10 a.m. in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Father Roland Vaughn will officiate. Burial will follow in Broussard Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. in the funeral home and will resume Friday from 8 a.m. until the time of service.
