Jimmie Paul Mallett, Jr.

Jimmie Paul Mallett, Jr., was called home to be with his Savior and Lord on December 8, 2017.

He was born November 2, 1964 to Jimmie and Birdie Mallett. Jimmie was loved by everyone and was a fun loving man… Never a dull moment!! He took fashion clues from no one. His everyday look was all his; t-shirts designed by Fruit of the Loom, black label elastic waist shorts, sold exclusively at Wal-Mart, flip-flops, and a LSU cap. He loved being comfortable, almost more than he loved lasagna. Jimmie was a welder by trade and passionate about his work.

To carry on his memory are the loved ones he left behind, his faithful companion, Molly… his pup; son, Brandon Mallett; daughters Sarah Mallett and Ashley Reinhardt and husband Jared; father, Jimmie Mallett; grandson, Jaxdyn; sister, Angela Dyer and husband Ron; brothers, Marlon Mallett and wife Sylvia and Anthony Mallett and wife Tressa; along with many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Birdie “Bunny” Mallett.

A gathering of family members and friends will be on Monday, December 11, 2017 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
