Joann Carpenter

JoAnn Carpenter, 54, of Lake Charles passed away on Monday, October 30, 2017 in a Mississippi hospital.

Ms. Carpenter was born on March 15, 1963 in Crestview, FL and lived in Lake Charles most of her life before moving to Mississippi recently. She was a loving mother and grandmother who adored her family and will be deeply missed.

Those left to cherish her memory are two children, Wade McBride (Jenett) of Sulphur and Rebekah Welch (Darren) of Mississippi; three siblings, Wallace Carpenter of New York, Pamela Adams of Iowa, and Vicki Rosteet of Moss Bluff; eight grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Claudel; a brother, Glen Carpenter; her parents, Mary Alice and Willie Ervin Carpenter; and mother-in-law, Pat McBride.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
