Jody Gail Sylvester

Jody Gail Sylvester, 60, went to be with the Lord on Friday May 13, 2016 at a local health care facility.

Jody was born March 25, 1956 in Sulphur, LA, to Hubert Glynn Broussard and Clara Suzanne “Sue” Broussard. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Music was her passion.

Jody is preceded in death by her mother; 2 brothers, Glyn Dunn and Matthew Broussard.

Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory are her husband, Eric Sylvester; 4 sons, Joseph Ricci ,Luke Sylvester, Justin Sylvester and Joey Sylvester; 2 daughters, Kelly Reeves and Jackie Bourque; Father, Glynn Broussard; 3 sisters, Glynda Dougherty, Bonnie Breaux and Carol Allphin; 6 grandchildren, Madelyn Shaw, Ryder Reeves, Aiden Stark, Lily Sylvester, Ruby June Sylvester and Chloe Sylvester; A host of nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Saturday May 21, 2016 at Waters Edge Church in Lake Charles, LA with Rev. Tony Bourque officiating.
