Joe Willis Laurentz

Mr. Joe Laurentz, 35, of Lake Charles passed on Monday, July 18, 2016 at his home.

Joe was a lifetime resident of the Lake Charles area and 1999 graduate of Sulphur High School. He was a well known practical joker and a good friend to have. In his spare time he enjoyed water sports,hunting, fishing, and cooking.  Joe was a member of the local #106 Plumber’s Union and spent is adult life as an iron worker.

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Debbie; children Lauryn, Lance, Gage, Isabella, and Ellie; three brothers, Daniel Maggio, David Maggio (wife, Shaine), Andrew Maggio; sisters, Terry and Wendy; Aunt Donna Lormand, Uncle Howard Armstrong; good friends, Zach, Rusty, Brett and Preston; and numerous nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his father Harry Laurentz; brothers, Patrick and Sonny.
