Joeddie Hoffpauir

Mrs. JoEddie Hoffpauir, 87, a life-long resident of Sulphur, LA passed away August 15, 2022, in a Lafayette hospital. 

She loved her family very much and enjoyed spending time with them.  JoEddie was a member of Henning Methodist Church.  She had several hobbies that she enjoyed like traveling, gardening, music-dancing, being creative with ceramics and then her quiet time as she enjoyed reading.

JoEddie is survived by her sister, Carol “Betty” (Frank) Crouch of Sulphur, La.  brothers, Carol Carlyn “Buddy” Burleson, Jr. of Sulphur, La., and Charles (Judy) Burleson of Houston, TX.; sons, Gerald (Connie) Hoffpauir of Moss Bluff, La., Carlyn Hoffpauir of Cypress Tx., David (Corrina) Hoffpauir of Carlyss, La.  daughters, Deanna (Byron) Leger of Lumberton, TX., Leslie (Dave) Wiseman of Wichita, KS, and Sharon (David) White of Mont Belvieu, TX; 11 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.

She is proceeded in death by her husband, Shelby Sidney Hoffpauir; parents, Carol and Sarah Burleson; sister, Barbara Jean Green; daughter-in-law, Pam Hoffpauir; granddaughter, Brandy Scott; and grandson, Brandon Hoffpauir. 

Her Funeral Service will be held at 10 AM, Saturday, August 20, 2022, in the Johnson and Robison Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow at Mimosa Pines Cemetery South.  Visitation will begin Friday, August 19, 2022, at 5 - 8:00 PM, and resume Saturday at 8 AM till the time of the service.
