John Allen Petty

John Allen Petty, 42, passed away on November 20, 2018 at his home in the loving arms of his family.

John attended Barbe High School. After high school he attended Lamar and McNeese Universities. John worked as an industrial radiographer for ALS Global/Maverick. He was also a member of Water’s Edge Church. He loved his family and his coworkers that he considered family.

He is survived by his partner in love and life, his wife, Elizabeth Petty; two sons, Jacob Caldine, and Joseph Petty; mother, Billie Marie Comeaux Petty; brother, Joshua C. Petty and his wife Marilyn “Ya Ya”; his fur baby, Justice; and other much loved extended family.

He is preceded in death by his father, Jerry Petty.

A memorial gathering will be held at Johnson Funeral Home on Saturday, November 24 from 4PM to 8PM and on Sunday, November 25 from 2PM to 4PM.
