John H. Johnny Johnson, Jr.

John H. "Johnny" Johnson, Jr., 51, of Westlake died at 3:00 AM Sunday, January 22, 2012 in Ragley, LA.

Johnny was a native and lived most of his life in the Lake Charles Area. John enjoyed his family and loved plants, animals and working in horticulture. Johnny was employed at Plant Works in Lafayette with Cindy Hunt many years. He especially loved his dog Nikki.

He is survived by one sister; Tina Dartez and husband Marty of Ragley, LA, one brother, Carl Dean Johnson of Hawaii; his mother Joyce L. Romero Johnson of Ragley, LA, one niece Kaye Johnwell and husband Donald, three nephews; Ronald Dale Wallace and wife Deann, Anthony Shawn Primeaux, and Joshua Adam Comeaux, and nine great nieces and nephews. John is preceded in death by his father, John H. Johnson, Sr., one brother, Gregory Johnson and one sister Pamela Trahan.

His funeral will be held on Friday, January 27, 2012 at 3:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home. Pastor Rick Batchelor will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM on Friday until the time of service.
