John L. Guillory

WELSH- “P Jack” as he was known to everyone. He entered into eternal rest on the morning of Wednesday, March 2, 2016, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He will be missed by many. Even though he is not here physically Happy memories of him will live on in the hearts and minds of his loved ones.

“P Jack” leaves to cherish his wonderful memories: a loving wife of 37 years Linda Guillory; son, James (Char) Guillory of Opelousas, La.; two daughters, Stacy (Norton) Destin of Houston, Tx. and Casey Porter of Welsh, La. One brother, Floyd Guillory of Patterson, La.; two sisters, Barbara Ellis of Houston, Tx. and Betty Joseph of Patterson, La. ; 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and two godchildren, Betty Joseph and Robert Pitre Jr. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and many friends.

His funeral will be at 11:00AM Saturday, March 12, 2016 at New Jerusalem Baptist Church. Rev. Nathan T. Stevens will officiate. Burial will be in East Ridge Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be Saturday 8:30AM-11:00AM at the church.
