John LeDoux, born in Welsh on January 11, 1949, son of the late Eugene and Hinnah (Bergeaud) LeDoux, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2022, after a lengthy illness at the age of 73.
John, a graduate of Sowela Technical College, was an electronics technician with the Calcasieu Parish School Board. He enjoyed drag racing, and camping with family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Darla; siblings; Anna, Paul, and James.
John is survived by his loving wife of nearly 43 years, Laura LeDoux; children, Laurie LeDoux, Lisa Willis, Jeremy LeDoux, Jessica LeDoux, Arnold Willis, Jr., and Crystal Trahan; siblings, Joe LeDoux, Jane Ruff, Juanita Ardoin, Shirley Shaw, and Veronica LeBlanc; numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be in Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at 2 p.m. with Deacon Wayne Chapman officiating. Cremation will follow the service under the direction of Johnson & Brown Funeral Home of Iowa. Visitation begins Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 2 p.m.
