John Leo Pharris
January 26, 1938 — April 2, 2011
John Leo Pharris, age 72, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2011, in a Sulphur hospital.
He was a retired sales manager having worked in retail most of his life. Mr. Pharris was a Navy veteran and a member of American Legion in Sulphur. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his daughter, Vickie Greenwood and husband, Donald of Sulphur; a sister, Patsy Breaux and husband, Wilson of Houston, TX; two grandchildren, Donald Wayne Greenwood and wife, Hollie, and Bridgett Greenwood; one great-grandchild, Paisley Greenwood; and a special friend, Ruby Greenwood.
Per his wishes, Mr. Pharris was cremated under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home of Lake Charles.
